520 _a"The importance of safety and well-being at work should be considered from a humane, social, and economic point of view. Working in safe conditions is important for every individual, but also a success and pride for the organization, the employer, and for society as a whole. The social significance of safety is mostly expressed through the large number of employees who are injured or lose their lives in the workplace, and suffer from occupational diseases and other work-related diseases that often burden their families, as well as for society that must take care. The third, the economic dimension of safety is seen through the consequences of injuries at work, occupational, and other diseases and is expressed in certain financial indicators that depend on the number and severity of such cases. Namely, injuries at work and occupational diseases are often accompanied by accidents, and absence from work which creates costs and expenses because the worker is not working. It causes production delays and significant funds are allocated for the treatment of workers, compensation, and wages. Other costs and expenses are borne by the employer and social security funds. This means that safety and health at work affect the productivity and competitiveness economy of business in the company, as well as the quality of products on the market. So, the employer has a direct interest in making it as safe and efficient as possible. That is why any investment in safety measures is a useful investment for the employer. The level of safety depends on the health and working ability of employees and affects the productivity within the company, which is reflected at the national level in the amount of national income. At the same time, better protection of health at work and reduction of the number of injuries at work, occupational and other diseases. It will reduce the burden on social security funds, which is directly reflected in the amount of these funds based on contributions from the national budget. Therefore, the health and workability of employees depend on the level of safety, and thus the productivity in the company, but also the working ability of the population at the national level, which ultimately affects the national income and standard of all citizens.
