520			_aThroughout history crime has become rampant and it is increasing in an uncontrollable way because police patrol is not visible. Police patrol is an important task that has to be strategic to a way of decreasing fear of crime among the public as it lowers the risk of victimization because perpetrators have no chance in committing crimes. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of police patrol strategies employed in Police Station 3, Barangay Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City. The result was the basis of the proposed action plan.
