High nurse turnover rates and shortages, driven by job dissatisfaction and burnout, create financial and healthcare burdens worldwide. In the Philippines, many nursing graduates face unemployment, underemployment, or migration due to educational mismatches and poor working conditions. This study explores student nurses' career preferences and role transition perceptions to help improve nurse retention and align career development with workforce needs.
