520			_aTeenage motherhood is a complex experience marked by both challenges and transformations. Young mothers encounter unique emotional, social, and economic circumstances. Transitioning from adolescence to motherhood demands significant resilience and support as these young women balance the roles of teenager and parent. This qualitative exploratory study investigates the journey of sixteen (16) teenage mothers in Barangay Luz, Cebu City, with a particular focus on their experiences, challenges, and coping mechanisms. With the use of semi-structured interviews, this research aimed to uncover the multifaceted dimensions of their lives.
