520 _a"The skincare industry has seen significant growth, driven by increasing consumer awareness and advancements in dermatological research. Local distributors, such as those representing Curae Essentials in Mandaue City, have played a key role in this expansion by meeting the growing demand for natural and organic products. As consumer preferences shift towards personalized skincare solutions, these distributors have leveraged social media and online platforms to connect with customers, boost sales, and stay ahead of trends. This study specifically explores the experiences of local distributors of Curae Essentials, highlighting how they navigate market shifts and customer preferences. The study utilized an exploratory research design to better understand the point of view of the informants, and inductive approach to qualitative data. This study was conducted at the various distributor's locations within Mandaue City Six (6) Curae Essentials distrinutors were chosen purposely to serve as informants in the study. A revised interview guide was used to aid in the interviews and underwent content validation. The audio recordings of the interviews were transcribed, organized, and processed. Afterwards, the data were subjected to thematic analysis. The study adhered to the principles of research ethics, which include beneficence, non-maleficence, fairness, and respect for persons. The elements of credibility, transferability, confirmability, and dependability guaranteed its Trustworthiness. The themes created from the experiences of the informants being a local distributors of Curae Essentials are the following: 1) Revenue Generation, the theme is: The Dynamics of Competitive Interaction Within the Market. 2) Marketing and Promotion, Critical Role of Consistent and Timely Content Posting in Building Brand Loyalty. 3) Inventory, the theme is: Optimizing Inventory: Strategies for Sales Tracking and Monitoring. 4) Recruitment and Membership, the themes are: More Incentives for New Members, Considerations Regarding Cost-Effectiveness and Entry-Level Investment. Moreover, the themes developed pertaining to the challenges encountered by the local distributors of Curae Essentials are the following: 1) Competitors, the themes are: Competitive Pricing Strategy for Assessing the Value Proposition of Rial Products, Competitive Pricing Pressure from other Competitors. 2) Marketing and Promotion, the rhemes are: Inconsistent Advertising by having a weak Social Media Presence, Lack of Relevant Information for the Products. 3) Sales and Pricing, the theme is The Lacking of Price Transparency of the same kind of Products from other Brands. 4) Counterfeiting Products, they are: Damaging the Brand by the presence of Counterfeit Products, Eroding Customer Trust Through the Failure to Deliver Quality Products." --Abstract
