520			_a"The availability of commercial detergents can sometimes be inconsistent, prompting the need for alternatives. The study developed a sustainable powdered detergent called Laundrimansi. It is concocted from a mixture of calamansi peels, cornstarch, and salt. The research assessed its cleaning effectiveness, environmental impact, and usability. A sample of 20 households in Cebu City participated in the study. Tests were done on white and colored cotton-based clothing. A two-tailed t-test was used to compare Laundrimansi and a commercial detergent. Both received an average effectiveness rating of 4.0. The p-value exceeded 0.05, indicating no significant difference between the two products (SD = 0.663 vs. SD = 0.632). Results suggest that Laundrimansi performs comparably. This study provides a foundation for further research on sustainable detergent alternatives, specifically to be on a larger scale." --Abstract
