520			_a"This paper aimed to determine the levels of conformity and academic anxiety of Tourism students of the University of Cebu — Banilad Campus as well as the relationship of their demographic profile in terms of sex and their study habits to their conformity and academic anxiety and the correlation of both constructs as the basis for the creation of a proposed psychoeducational program aiming to provide tailored support and guidance to help students develop effective strategies to manage their these pressures.. This study utilized a descriptive-correlational research design to understand the relationship between conformity and academic anxiety among Tourism students at the University of Cebu-Banilad. The researcher utilized a modified Informative and Normative Conformity Scale (SKI-N), a modified Academic Anxiety Scale, and a researcher-made questionnaire for their demographic profile. Using simple-random sampling, the data was gathered from two hundred eighty (280) tourism management students. The data was treated using frequency count, simple percentage, weighted mean, chi-square, and Pearson correlation coefficient. The researchers ensured that the ethical principles and research standards, including beneficence, non-maleficence, justice, and astronomy, were upheld and strictly adhered to throughout the research process. The study found that most of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management students are female and the most practiced study habit is studying with a group. The study findings also showed a significant relationship between the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management students' demographic profile in terms of sex and their conformity where male Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management students have higher conformity than female Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management students. Furthermore, the data findings showed a moderate positive correlation between their levels of conformity and academic anxiety, implying that when tourism students' conformity increases, their academic anxiety also tends to increase." —Abstract
