520 _aSummary: Emergency situations occur in the least way we imagined it. Normally, we don't usually know what to do when those things happen. What to do? Who to call? How to do it? In order to avoid that, we developed a mobile application that can aid in emergency situations. iCapture : Emergency Response Application is a mobile application that is developed so that in times of emergency, we will have a role and help those who are in need. With this application, calling for help will be easier amd more precise. Capture a photo or record a video clip and send it to specific emergency response team needed for that certain emergency like Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) and Local Government Unit (LGU) and the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF). Those emergency response establishments will be able to provide services 24/7 in real-time. By using the Agile Methodology as our research method, the researchers were able to study and apply the use of different technologies that are present and useful on android mobile phones to be able to answer and solve the statement of the problem which is both report and respond emergency situations. Examples of these technologies are Google Maps, Global Positioning System (GPS), Phone Camera, and SMS Manager. Using the Google Maps services, the emergency response teams can now see the exact location that will be sent to the emergency response teams together with the image or video clip captured through the phone's camera. Also, the SMS Manager allows the emergency response teams to notify the user regarding the status of the said emergency report through receiving a text message. With this being stated, the iCapture : Emergency Response Application can now be used in asking and responding for help more efficiently and much faster than the usual emergency protocols.
