520 _aSummary: Convenience is one of the key reasons as to why the needs arises for mobile innovations. Trough the years, different ideas were developed and implemented to answer the need of the human min's satisfaction for technology. In the year 2013, there are around 7,690,038 registered vehicles i n the Philippines. With this number, it can be hypothetically generalized that there is indeed a large need for a vehicle service center locator in the country. Information of these different vehicle service centers needs to be gathered along the appropriate method of locating these vehicle service centers without comprising the features and settings of the applications . This study uses the Prototyping Method to get a much more precise and accurate way of gathering customer responses and feedback. System specifications that will be needed for the basic structure of application will be analyzed to determine the needs or conditions upon the completion of the system requirements. To make that the application will be all set before the deployment, potential defects, and bugs will be scrutinized thoroughly in order to resolves issues and prevent cost maintenance. Testing methods such as the Unit Testing, Integration testing and Alpha Testing will be used for further search of potential defects and bugs in the application. Further system maintenance will be done in accordance to the application lifeline. This study led to the development of a mobile application called "Manong Driver". The study is limited and will only cover the service centers for land transportation vehicles in Cebu City but the researchers are looking into the possibility of scaling the application not only in the locale setting but in a global aspect as well. This application would also require internet connection for the global positioning system to locate the user location.
