520 _aSummary: This study is a evaluation of the community extension services and development office of the University of Cebu-Banilad. The study utilized the descriptive method using a researcher-adopted questionnaire. The respondents involved in the study were the randomly selected students from different courses formally enrolled in the school year 2011-2012, teaching personnel of the nine courses, the Campus Administrator and the Deans of each departments and students volunteers. The results of the study were as follows: (1) that a formal agreement between the community and the school must be established; (2) a formulation of the latest community survey to identify the needs and concerns of the community; (3)the community survey must be presented to the stakeholders; (4) a seminar/training for coordinators on volunteer program development and management and community organizing must be conducted; (5) basic training for new community volunteer and follow-through of the old community volunteers for partnership and continuity of activity; (6) formulation of CESDEV volunteers selection checklist; (7) and seminar/training of proper volunteer selection for alumni and coordinators; (8) basic leadership training for new student volunteers and advance training for old volunteers; (9) knowledge on the organization chart hat shows a clear staff function of the coordinators and the volunteers; (10) conduct researches on CESDEV and its adopted community; and (11) establish linkages with government organizations and non-government organizations. In conclusion, the system evaluation of the community extension program should be developed in order to achieve its goals for effectiveness of its programs and services rendered.
