520 _aSummary: Social media marketing as one of internet marketing helps companies increase their brands visibility and expand customer reach with the social network. The objective of the study is to determine the level of effectiveness of facebook in the marketing and promotion of Gatubod Spring Resort. Descriptive-correlation method using the research-made questionnaire was used to gather the data. The main respondents of this study were 30 employees from Gatubod Spring Resort. The statistical treatments used for data analysis were simple percentage, weighted mean, and chi-square test of independence. The findings showed that the promotion of Gatubod Spring using Facebook is effective in terms of public relations, sales and profit. Therefore, promotional enrichment is needed to ensure the effectiveness of facebook as a promotional tool for promoting Gatubod Spring Resort.
