520 | _aSummary: Generally, seaport services have been developing year on year, playing an increasingly important role in the economy and the transportation markets of each country. This study evaluated the development of Pier 3-Terminal 2 for the last five years. This study utilized descriptive-correlation survey method. A researcher-made questionnaire was used in gathering data to the respondents who were the passengers in Pier 3-Terminal 2. The findings of this study show that the majority of the respondents were 16-25 years old and most were males. For the last five years, there were facilities and services development, such as free usage of computers with internet connection, more seating capacity, vending machines, baggage carts, efficient porters, fully air-conditioned premises and x-ray machine scanners for safety purposes. The respondents strongly agreed that these developments were implemented in the terminal and thus gave them a positive effect in traveling. Therefore, the development of Pier 3- Terminal 2 increases the satisfaction of passengers that lead to further enhancement of their facilities , comfort, convenience, safety and security for the passengers. Thus, the researchers recommended that an intervention scheme should be implemented for the maintenance and further developments of the site. | ||
