520 _aSummary: Educational achievement of students demands urgent attention to attain their goals. A numerous researches have been conducted to examine the factors that influence academic performance of college students, with the purpose of enhancing learning. The objective of this research is to examine if a relationship exists between intelligence quotient and academic performance of the business administration graduates. In order to accomplish the objectives there were 46 samples of fourth year students enrolled in the academic year 2014-2015. This study utilized the descriptive- correlational design using simple random sampling technique. For analysis of the data, in determining intelligence quotient and academic performance, simple percentage was used. In assessing the significant relationship between intelligence quotient and academic performance, t-test was utilized and to determine the strength of relationship between the two variables, Pearson r was computed. The findings showed that most of the students had an average intelligence quotient and high academic performance. The results revealed that there was a strong relationship between intelligence quotient and academic performance. Therefore, there is need to enhance more effective teaching-learning activity. Certain aspects of the curriculum should support improved instructions for students who are experiencing academic difficulties. This can be used for curriculum development, planning instruction, selection of course activities, and related assessment strategies. There should also remedial classes to be conducted to assist the business administrations who experienced difficulty in their major course or subject. The tutors would be the students in the higher levels with close monitoring by the program coordinator and the dean.
