The study used descriptive- correlational design. The locale of the study was the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus located at Gov. Cuenco Avenue Banilad,Cebu City.Selected Criminology students were the respondents of the study. Respondents were chosen through random sampling. The study considered five females and thirty-five males. Moreover, the study utilized a researcher-made instrument. The research tool was designed with two pats namely; the profile of the respondents and the smoking practices of the respondents. Simple percent was used to uncover the profile of the respondents. Weighted mean was computed to determine the respondents' smoking practices. Chi-square was utilized to explore the existence of significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their agreement on various provisions of smoking practices. The findings revealed that majority of the respondents were within sixteen to seventeen years old. Male gender dominated the study. Majority of the respondents were fourth year Criminology students. It was found out that majority of the Criminology students smoke for relaxation, comfort, prevent depression, relieve stress, kill boredom and to keep awake. The respondents strongly agreed to the provisions on smoking practices stipulated in the research instrument. Furthermore, there is no significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their smoking practices, except for the gender profile.
