520 _aSummary: Street foods are very popular all around the world. Street foods are great sources of fast and convenient meals for busy, working individuals. Street foods vary in different aspects such as mirienda to full meals. These street foods may also vary from foods to deep fried eggs. To pork barbques and deep fried banana ques. Street food has been and will always be a great factor to a economy's tourist attraction. This study is titled Food Safety and Sanitation Practices of Street Food Vendors in Sitio Ibaan, Kasambagan Cebu City. This study has the sole purpose of determining the food safety and sanitation practices of the street food vendors in Sitio Ibaan. The researchers conducted the interview which started with a transmittal letter to the barangay captain. Afterwards, the researchers looked for street food vendors in the area who were willing to be interviewed. The street food vendors who were willing were asked and signed an informed consent to give them information about the research and interview procedures. The answers of the informants were then categorized and arranged by the researchers according to them and interpreted by the researchers based on their own understanding. The results show improper practices followed by the street vendors. The researchers found similarities in the practices of all the street food vendors. The researchers found a phenomenon the malpractices commonly followed by the street food vendors. The researchers recommended an intervention for the street food vendors to educate them the importance of following food safety and sanitation practices.
