520 | _aSummary: Safety management is a tool that protects employees and students from danger, risk,and injury. It ensures safety of workers by setting and enforcing standards,providing tailored fit-training, outreach, and education, establishing partnership and cooperation among departments and encouraging continual improvement in work-pace safety. Students sense of safety in school may impact their academic,behavioral, socio emotional and physical well being as well as their more general experience of the school as a supportive and welcoming place. This study aimed to evaluate the stakeholders views and design action plan on the implementation status on safety and security measures in a university. This study employed descriptive-correlation design utilizing a researcher-made questionnaire. The respondents of the study were twenty students, twenty faculty,and another twenty from the non-teaching personnel of University of Cebu- Banilad campus. Statistical treatment such as percent, weighted mean, and chi square test of independence. Based on the findings of the study, the first seventh, and twelfth indicator has the top highest well implemented security measures while the tenth fifth,and sixth indicator are the poorest implemented security measures. Chi square test of independence and cramer's v were computed to explore the significant relationship between the stakeholders occupation and their assessment on the status of implementation on safety and security measures in a university. Based on the findings of the research conducted researchers have concluded that security measures in a university must be highly implemented to avoid or prevent accidents and unexpected scenarios that could possibly harm the stakeholders in the university. | ||
