520 _aSummary: Game of Trash is a mobile-based interactive game application that runs on any mobile devices with an Android OS, specifically Android version 4.3 onwards. Game of Trash is one of those what we call educational games. Educational games are games that are designed to help people to learn about certain subjects or assist them in learning a skill as they play. One of the crisis that the world is facing right now is pollution and the fast growth of solid waste production, which is produced by humans, is one of the factors behind it. Having this crisis in mind, the team is then influenced to create a game that would help educate and promote awareness of practicing the proper waste management such as the segregation of trashes according to its category and recycling which can contribute to lessen the production of trashes. The main objectives of the game is to educate, promote, and instill the importance of practicing the proper segregation of trashes and recycling to children. When children are early educated about the proper waste management, they develop a strong sense of responsibility for the environment and within themselves. This application requires internet connection for the player to be able to play the game. Upon playing the game, one must create an account where he/she can save his/her progress, points and achievements of the game. The game offers tutorial for users who are new to the game. The Stage/ Level Map shows the levels of the game that the player can play. The player needs to complete the required level first to be able to proceed to the next level, hence, he/she can choose to play the levels again if he/she had already accomplished it. Game of Trash consists two main missions: Trash Hunt and Trash segregation. The first mission is the Trash hunt where the player needs to find all the trashes in the list, which is provided by the game, in the real world by using the phone's camera. This feature of the game offers real-time object detection augmented realty, trivia and a "DO IT YOURSELF" button where it will provide list of creative recyclable crafts from the trash. The next mission of the game is the Trash Segregation where the player will segregate the trashes from the correct trash bins. The game also has a leader board that presents the top players who got the highest scores of the game. It also has Trashbook where the user can read and understand the four categories of solid waste. Using Game of Trash as a tool, educating and promoting awareness of the significance of practicing proper waste segregation and recycling will be more effective. In Game of Trash, learning will be more fun and engaging!.
