501 _aThesis (Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing) -- University of Cebu-Banilad, 1994.
520 _aSummary: For the past years a considerable change has taken place in the point of view concerning "co-curricular activities". More and more it is realized that these activities can make a significant contribution to the educational growth of the child. The realization that extra class activities has encouraged educators to attach increasing importance to them. Educators today believe that these activities should not be considered "extra", but they should be considered part of the school curriculum, the educational activities provided under the supervisor of the school. In harmony with this point of view, activities are called "co-curricular" rather than "extra-curricular", to distinguish them from those activities which form a part of the usual classroom program.
